PMC RN completes radiation oncology course

POCATELLO — Jenni Adams, a registered nurse at Portneuf Medical Center, recently completed an online radiation oncology course that was offered through the Oncology Nursing Society. 

The nurse, who works at PMC’s cancer center, attained the certification by participating in a 15-hour course and by successfully passing a final examination. 

According to a press release, Adams is one of the first nurses in the state of Idaho to have received such certification. She has worked at PMC since 1999.
