Behavioral Health Services
Evening Dual Diagnosis Program
Also a part of the Intensive Outpatient Program is our Dual Diagnosis track which provides services to group members who have a serious mood or anxiety disorder combined with a significant addiction problem. The addiction could include alcohol, street drugs and/or prescription drugs. We also are able to treat pathological gambling addictions. Someone with a dual diagnosis may:
- Use alcohol or other drugs to try to control feelings or avoid problems
- Need more alcohol or other drugs to get the same feeling
- Feel sad for long periods
- Show aggressiveness toward others
- Have mood swings going from very happy to very sad
- Lack of interest in people or activities that used to be enjoyable
- Talk about suicide
Evening Dual Diagnosis Program Group meets Monday and Wednesday from 4:00pm to 7:00pm, and Friday from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
