H.O.P.E. Cancer Support Group
(Helping Other People Endure)

“Shared joy is double joy, shared sorrow is half a sorrow.” This proverb describes what many patients and their caregivers feel after attending a H.O.P.E meeting at Portneuf Cancer Center. For six years, the H.O.P.E. Group has been a place for patients of different ages, walks of life and cancer diagnoses to share their stories. Like the group members, the stories are each unique. Each weekly meeting offers members time to catch up with friends and share stories. After "checking in", groups can include special speakers, special learning topics or our monthly pot-luck.

H.O.P.E. meets every Monday in the lobby of the Cancer Center, 500 S. 11th Ave, Ste. 100, from 5-6:30 PM. Come alone or bring a support person with you. For more information, call 239-1750. Please check out our calendar of weekly topics and events.
