Better Breathers Club
Do you or someone you know suffer from lung disease, such as COPD or asthma? If so, you can find a supportive environment by joining your local Better Breathers Club. Sponsored by the American Lung Association in Idaho, Better Breathers Clubs are all about people helping people – an opportunity for mutual support, and sharing ideas and experiences. Educational programs include literature, demonstrations and presentations by guest physicians, respiratory therapists and other professionals.

Mended Hearts, which is affiliated with the American Heart Association, is a national non-profit organization offering the gift of hope to heart patients, their families, and caregivers for more than 50 years. Group meetings held monthly help people understand there can be a rich, rewarding life after heart disease. Members listen, share their experiences, learn from healthcare professionals and volunteer to talk to other heart patients about what they may face including lifestyle changes, depression, recovery, and treatment.

Stroke Support Group
For stroke survivors of all ages and abilities, as well as caregivers, family, and friends. This is a great way to meet others who are experiencing similar situations. Offer/receive support and knowledge, and identify needs and available community resources.
Meets the fourth Thursday of each month from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the PMC Physical Medicine Department located at 515 E. Benton St. Pocatello (across from Albertson’s)
