OPERATING ROOM

Duties

This position is accountable for the provision of safe, efficient, and therapeutically effective care to the patients of the Operating Room. Utilizing the nursing process, care is delivered in compliance with hospital policies and procedures, legal and regulatory standards. Completes physical assessment, patient history, and evaluation, and continuously assesses condition throughout the procedure. Ensures that all instrumentation and equipment needed for each surgical procedure is set up, sterile, and operational. Documents assessment, plan of care, interventions, and patient response consistent with hospital and unit standards. Provides timely and adequate supervision to surgical technicians, LPNs, CNAs and other personnel as required based on staff qualifications and competence.

Requirements

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Idaho. Previous OR and CVOR experience preferred. CNOR preferred. Current BLS and ACLS required.

Classification

Full-time (80 hr/pp) variable shifts + call (7 positions) Part-time (40 hr/pp) variable shifts + call (2 positions) PRN- variable shifts, no guaranteed hours **Sign on Bonus based on experience** **Employee Referral Award Program**
