Laboratory Wellness Screenings
Did you know you can visit the lab without a physician order and request a wellness screening? A screening helps establish a baseline of health information and identify risk factors for developing heart disease and diabetes. A screening can also detect abnormalities in the blood.
You can choose which tests you would like to have performed.
Available tests include:
- Pregnancy
- Diabetes (blood glucose, insulin, and glycohemoglobin)
- Heart disease screening (cholesterol HDL, triglycerides)
- Thyroid function (TSH, Free T4)
- Blood typing (ABO, RH)
- Prostate screening (PSA)
- Colon cancer screening (Occult blood)
No appointments necessary.
