Ownership Portneuf Medical Center is an acute care facility with 250 licensed beds, owned by the citizens of Bannock County. Locally organized and operated, Portneuf Medical Center has served the health care needs of Southeast Idahoans since 1907. Portneuf is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and is licensed by the State Department of Health and Welfare. Portneuf operates under the direction of its administrator and is governed by a Governing Board appointed by the Bannock County Commission. |
