Portneuf Medical Center Pharmacy 
The Pharmacy Department at Portneuf Medical Center is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to meet the needs of the patients in the hospital as well as those in the community.
Pharmacists are involved in many aspects of patient care including consulting with physicians on patient-appropriate medications, answering questions from other health care providers regarding safe and proper administration of medications, as well as providing counseling to patients on proper use of their medications. During emergency medical situations, pharmacists respond to assist with medication selection, dosing, preparation, and administration. Pharmacists are also available 24 hours a day to answer medication related questions from people in the community.
