Physical medicine and rehabilitation are the health care specialties focused on restoring the health and functional abilities of people after acute illness or injury.
Our physical medicine team serves those who have experienced stroke, spinal cord injuries, heart surgery, amputation, joint replacement, sports injuries or spinal disorders.
Working together, Portneuf Medical Center physiatrists, nurses, therapists, and social workers help our patients return to their highest levels of independent functioning.
