Portneuf Medical Center understands that we can't improve what we don't measure. That is why
we set high standards for care and constantly measure our own performance. Using patient surveys,
infection control audits and many other quality assurance tools, we continually work to provide the
best care for our patients. Portneuf's efforts recently earned several quality awards from
HealthGrades®. To learn more about our awards,

measure our quality of care. Please be aware that with the exception of HCAHPS, data used to
rank/rate performance may be two years older or more.

Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO)
The Joint Commission evaluates and accredits nearly 15,000 health care organizations and programs
in the United States. This site reports information about accreditation
status and quality reports related to national patient safety goals. Portneuf Medical Center is

Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers & Systems (HCAHPS)
