Rehabilitation

Since 2000 Portneuf Medical Center's Inpatient Rehabilitation has served thousands of patients. Our rehabilitation team provides care for people who have experienced many different types of injuries or who suffer from chronic disease, all with the goal of increasing independence and function.

Our rehabilitation services involve one-to-one meetings and sessions that may include physical, occupational, and respiratory therapists; speech language pathologists; psychologists; rehabilitation nurses; social workers; dietitians and physicians who work with patients to develop the skills needed to live outside the hospital.

This process of comprehensive rehabilitation care, along with peer counseling and support systems, evening and weekend programs, education and training for family members, and our ability to manage complex medical care issues, adds up to Portneuf's reputation for excellent care.
