- Generally, it is best not to visit hospitalized patients when you or your child is ill.
-
Patients often have special needs for food or beverages. Please check with the nurse
before bringing or giving the patient extra food or beverages.
-
Patient bathrooms are for use by patients only. There are public rest rooms throughout
the hospital for visitors and staff.
-
Patient rooms can comfortably accommodate two visitors at a time. When there are
several visitors, please use the patient/visitor lounges on each unit as these areas can
more easily accommodate larger groups.
-
Attending physicians or nursing staff may ask visitors to leave or remain, depending on
a patient's condition and interests.
-
Requests for overnight visits should be directed to the nurse for specific patient floor
guidelines.
